Discover Scuba Diving – Your First Breath Underwater in Seychelles.

Based on Eden Island near Mahé, Oceanika Diving Club offers safe and fun first dives in the Seychelles, surrounded by coral reefs, turtles, and colorful tropical fish

Have you ever dreamed of breathing underwater, surrounded by colorful fish and vibrant coral?
With Oceanika Diving Club, this dream becomes reality — safely, calmly, and always at your own pace.

A first dive (also called an introductory dive) is your chance to discover the underwater world with no experience required. You don’t need to be athletic or an expert swimmer — just curious and ready to try something new.
From your very first breath underwater, you’ll understand why so many people fall in love with diving.

Is diving really for me?

Absolutely.

Bubblemaker courses start at 8 years old. Scuba diving is available from the age of 10 — and after that, no problem!
If you’re a little anxious — that’s normal. Everyone feels the same before their first dive!
Your instructor will be right by your side the entire time, guiding you step by step and making sure you feel safe, comfortable, and confident before going underwater.

If you have any specific health conditions or questions, just tell us beforehand — we’ll make sure everything is adapted to you.

 Where do we dive?

All our first dives take place around Eden Island  and the marine park, in calm, protected waters of Seychelles. ( Cerf island, sainte anne, longue island )
These shallow lagoons are home to colorful reef fish, rays, turtles, and healthy corals.
We choose each dive site for its safety, visibility, and beauty, so you can discover the ocean in complete peace of mind.

You’ll meet us directly at our dive center on Eden Island — from there, it’s just a short 10-minute boat ride to the site.

How does it work exactly?

You’ll meet your instructor at the dive center.

We’ll give you all your equipment and show you how it works.

You’ll receive a short, easy briefing to learn how to breathe, move, and communicate underwater.

Then we’ll take the boat to a shallow, calm site — the ideal place for your first dive.

Your instructor will stay right beside you at all times, helping you to relax and enjoy every moment.

How deep and how long?

Don’t worry , in our country , the magic starts just below the surface until max 12 meters  for the beginning .
Most introductory dives last around 35 to 45 minutes underwater, depending on your comfort and air consumption.

What if I have trouble with my ears?

That’s a common concern.
Unlike freediving, scuba diving allows you to go down slowly, equalizing gently with your instructor’s help.
Almost everyone can do it comfortably — it’s just a matter of patience and calm breathing.
